Construction Process

A major construction project is easier to manage when the scope, site conditions and important decisions are resolved before work begins.

1

Project conversation

Define what you want to build or change, the property location and the result the project needs to deliver.

2

Site & scope review

Existing conditions, access, structure, utilities and likely approvals are identified.

3

Plan & coordinate

Drawings, selections, trades and material timing are organized into a buildable sequence.

4

Build & complete

Construction moves through rough work, inspections where required, finishes and final review.

Why early decisions matter

Moving a wall, changing a roofline or relocating plumbing is far less disruptive before construction begins than after framing or finish work is underway. The process therefore pushes structural, utility and long-lead decisions toward the front of the project.

Communication during construction

Changes should be understandable before they are built. A clear scope, documented decisions and a known next step help homeowners, business owners and trades work from the same plan.

Final review

The project is reviewed against the agreed scope, remaining completion items are identified and the space is prepared for handoff.
